Purpose: This pattern allows skaters to practice alternating forward outside three turns across the ice. This is a great on-ice warm-up for practicing edges, turns, and crossovers. The backward crossover to forward outside edge step forward is a good exercise to practice control and edge quality on the axel entrance and entry.
