Purpose: By walking through the positions for a forward to backward camel spin on the floor, skaters can practice the muscle memory needed for changing feet and quickly snapping up into their back camel after the forward camel. The 1/4 turns add an additional level of difficulty and make skaters practice keeping their free hip lifted during the spin.
Focus: Basic technique, consistency, axis, alignment, stability, free side lifted
