          25s

Purpose: This pattern allows skaters to practice alternating forward outside three turns across the ice. This is a great on-ice warm-up for practicing edges, turns, and crossovers. The backward crossover to forward outside edge step forward is a good exercise to practice control and edge quality on the axel entrance and entry.
Focus: Across the floor, flow, glide, ice coverage, skating quality, edge quality, warm-up, turn placement, lobe size, axis.
